Middle School 1973-1976

At age 10 Cheryl began bowling.  It was through this sport she developed a mental toughness and the ability to concentrate that would later assist her as she was ranked 2nd in the nation in Freethrows at Arkansas.  Cheryl is 2nd from the right at age 14.  She won a bowling tournament in Milwaukee, WI.

Debbie Schaeffer (left) and Cheryl Orcholski are at 78th Street School in Milwaukee, WI in 1982.  Deb was Cheryl's softball coach in the late 1960' and early 1970's.  Deb coached Cheryl at 88th Street School during the summer months.  It was with Deb she taught Cheryl the importance of commitment and loyalty.

Cheryl and Brian Morello. The Morello's were Cheryl's 2nd family.  Ralph and Judy Morello had 5 children, Brian, Mike, Ann, Sara, and Meghan.  Cheryl and her brothers would play sports with Brian and Mike. Cheryl went to Arkansas and Brian went to SMU in Dallas, TX.

The Morello children are married with children of their own.  They own and run Beloit Beverage in Milwaukee, WI.

In the early 1970's the Orcholski's would go camping. They enjoyed going to Plymouth Rock the most because of all the activities they had for children.

At Plymouth Rock Cheryl and her brothers would race mini bikes.
