A new nonfiction book about Wisconsin’s longest running Boys and Girls AAU Basketball program is now available to purchase. The twenty-six chapter book recounts the remarkable history behind its founder, Cheryl Orcholski Mohr, and her organization, Higher Level Camps. “Inner Rhythm; The Inside Story, follows Mohr back to her childhood on the school playgrounds of Milwaukee. The book offers a never-before-told personal look at the founder’s ambition and exceptional basketball career during her high school years, then as a Lady Razorback at Arkansas, and onto her experience as a draft choice for the Columbus Minks.
Higher Level Camps, or HLC, is one of the most established, revered and successful Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) program in Wisconsin. The organization, celebrating twenty-five years (Fall 2018) and better, is thriving because of the importance placed on the pillars of character and commitment demanded by the founder, Cheryl Mohr.
