Tryouts for HLC Teams: AAU Licensed Program
PARENT/ GUARDIAN: Must be in attendance at tryouts. Athletes cannot attend tryouts alone.
CHECK IN: Be there 30 minutes before tryouts begin to fill out paperwork. We will start on time at each location.
HLC’s GOALS: Our main goal is to EDUCATE families about off-season basketball programs and what it takes to be successful in high school and and play college athletics.
THE BIG PICTURE: Parents and players will meet with HLC Staff. We will do a presentation called “The Big Picture”. This meeting will inform parents and players about what is available and what they need to do to give their son/ daughter the opportunity to reach their next level of play.
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: You may try out during your season. Tryouts are not against the WIAA guidelines. Athletes cannot participate in a competition during their season. Tryouts for a team is not considered a competition.
WHO: Boys and Girls 4th – 12th grade (based on 2022 – 23 academic year)
WHAT: Tryouts for 20232 AAU Traveling Teams
WHY: To give boys and girls the opportunity to come and workout with HLC and make a team.
DATES: 9/25/22, 11/6/22, 01/15/23, 02/12/23, 03/12/23
TIME: From 12 noon-2pm
DEADLINE: registration forms and fees is due 5 days after tryouts
- Meeting with parents and players- presentation called “The Big Picture”
- Workout and meet with families
